Lady Tigers

The fog, the lights, the excitement, the Championship! It is a feeling these girls know well. Tabiona has achieved this honor 4 times in the last 8 years, a great accomplishment!

After entering the state tournament ranked fourth, the Tigers won their first two games and found themselves in the Semi's where they knocked off the number one seeded Monument Valley Cougars. This put them in the Championship game against perennial power Panguitch. The ladies exerted great effort, however the Tiger's season came to an end with a heartbreaking loss to the Bobcats. With top stats for the Tigers, Sicily Fabrizio and Maycee Rhoades were named to the All-tournament team.

Sicily summed up the season and her high school basketball career with these words, "One of my favorite things about basketball is being around all my teammates! They pushed me to be better when I felt like giving up and I will never forget the friendships I have made with not only my teammates, but girls I have played against. If there is one thing that basketball has taught me I would have to say be confident in everything you do! I realized I succeeded more when I was confident and I feel like that positive energy bounced off of me and onto everyone else! 2nd Place is a huge accomplishment, and I am very blessed to be a part of such a great program and community."

Graduating this year will be Sicily Fabrizio, Hadly Henderson, Kamerie Iverson, and Kamilah Webb. Our seniors will be greatly missed as we strive to capture the championship next year! We are extremely proud of these young women and their hard work. Good Job Ladies!
